LGBT Asylum is a group of LGBT people - asylum seekers, refugees, Danish citizens and persons residing in Denmark. LGBT Asylum works for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons in the Danish asylum system and for the rights of LGBT refugees in Denmark. They provide support and counseling for LGBT asylum applicants and refugees as well as a social network.
In 2018 I had the great pleasure to work with some of these fantastic and inspiring personalities from LGBT Asylum. They all have some heart breaking stories to tell and they have been dealing with lives that I even can’t imagine. I’m so honored that they stood up and participated in this photo shoot.
